Our Story

From Passion to Purpose

Golden Chicks was born from a simple idea: Zimbabwean farmers deserve access to world-class poultry stock without the world-class price tag. Founded in 2025 by poultry enthusiast and farmer Tinashe Mupfumira, we started with a small flock of 200 birds in a Waterfalls backyard.

Today, Golden Chicks operates one of Harare's most productive free-range poultry facilities, supplying commercial farmers, smallholders, NGO-supported community projects, and backyard farmers across all 8 provinces of Zimbabwe.

Our philosophy is simple: healthy land, healthy birds, healthy communities. Every bird that leaves Golden Chicks has been raised with care, fed with purpose, and prepared to perform on your farm.
